Polly Vishloff

Recently, Larry Ewashen, Curator, who helped Marla Chernoff create the Doukhobor Exhibit at Port Moody, had an opportunity to visit the exhibit with his Aunt, Polly Vishloff, of Mission, BC. Tolstoy Statue

Sian James, photographer on contract to Heritage Tourism Alliance of BC, recently spent the morning at the Doukhobor Discovery Centre. She is collecting photographs of attractions to be publicized through Tourism BC. In this scene she photographs tourists who are admiring the Tolstoy statue.

Tour Bus

The Doukhobor Discovery Centre has concluded another successful season. With some tours still to go in October, the official season concluded on September 30th by a visit from Empire Tours from Seattle. Communities In Bloom

Recent visitors to the Doukhobor Discovery Centre included the annual Communities in Bloom inspection. Last year the Centre received a special certificate of recognition in the Heritage category.
