Doukhobor Village Open For The 2012 Season

The Doukhobor Village in Castlegar opened for the 2012 season with a great day of fun and entertainment on Sunday, April 29.

Workers had been busy for several weeks making repairs and fixing the roof of the main building in preparation for the opening.

The village is open from May 1 – September from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hello, Nadia! My tour group members were really impressed with the Doukhobor Discovery Centre;furthermore, they were enthralled with your presentation. Many of them who had never encountered the Doukhobors said they learned a great deal from your talk and from what they had seen in the various displays.
