| The Village Art Gallery/Craft Centre |
| The
Village Art Gallery/Craft Centre strives to keep a stock of books relevant
to Doukhobor culture and history, ranging from scholarly thesis to academic
explorations to easily accessible history. The shop itself is a gallery
of Doukhobor-related art work for viewing and sale. We feature special
exhibits in the gallery from time to time. This year we are presenting
highlights of last year's autochrome exhibition, prints for sale. Desired
prints not on display can be viewed online
and ordered from the Museum. (These Autochromes make splendid gift ideas!) There are postcards and an archive of films relating to Doukhobors dating back to 1948. Non-competitive games and Doukhobor crafts such as hand-carved ladles and hand loomed rag rugs are also featured. |
