The Doukhobor Discovery Center was recently pleased by the arrival of a special commendation from the Communities in Bloom.

It was a Special Mention, after the Provincial survey of participating communities throughout BC this summer.

'Our museum blossoms every year for thirty five years now,' said Curator Larry Ewashen, 'but this is the first time we have received an official certificate attesting to this fact'.

The certificate was signed by both the National Chairman, Ted Blowes, and Randy Greenizan, Chairman of the BC Communities in Bloom.
