Appropriately, and especially because of this year's theme, the Doukhobor Discovery Center was the host of the annual Christian Community of Universal Brotherhood meeting.

 

This board meets annually to dispense funds to eligible Doukhobor organizations for the maintenance and encouragement of Doukhobor culture and heritage. The funds are monies left over after the foreclosure on CCUB holdings in 1938. The board also enjoyed a sumptuous lunch at the Village Bistro, compliments of the Center.
