The Doukhobor Discovery Centre participated in World Environment Day, June 5, by planting a tree at 4:00 p.m. on the Museum Grounds. This event was held in cooperation with the Kootenay Region United Nations Association and the Castlegar Communities in Bloom Committee. While others helped, here, curator Larry Ewashen and DDC tour guide Jasmine Popoff take over shovel duties.
